Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Hop Starts NOW!

Hello there inky friends!  Today begins the fun Coffee Lovers Hop for Spring and Summer!  I'm joining my fellow Coffee Loving Cardmaking teamies as we usher in a brand new hop.  I hope you find some time to join the fun and share some deelish creations with us!  Hop over to the START page HERE to read more about it and to find a list of all our fabulous super sponsors!  Play along and you might win a coffee/stamper prize!

On this first day of the hop, I decided to feature SUPER SPONSOR Graciellie Design.  Gracie is debuting a brand spankin' new digi called "Spring Coffee" that you can find in her shop HERE.  You can check out all the inspiration from this new set on the Graciellie Design Blog HERE.  I thought it would be fun to create a fun little notecard set in the rainbow "Easter Egger" design.  These tiny little notecards have a topfold and are colored on both the front and the back.  To create the digi design, I just rotated the floral to-go cup to fit atop another cup and shrunk it down to be a half-pint cup.  Definitely need SEVERAl cups of these to start your day!

I used colored pencils and Wendy Vecchi Ranger Blendable Ink to create the colored rainbow of cups!

Yummy, Yummy!  Gotta love this set!

Day 1: Coffee Loving Cardmakers Fall/Winter Hop

Hey there inky friends!  Today is the first day of the FALL/WINTER COFFEE LOVERS BLOG HOP!  WOO HOO!  I'm so excited to be joining all my coffee-loving peeps as we celebrate our love of coffee/tea/cocoa/cider goodness...In crafty form!  All week long we'll be sharing projects we're proud of and we hope you'll join us in the fun!  Thanks to all of our amazing Super Sponsors, we have a TON of NEW and LOVED products on display and our Super Sponsors have once again shared some amazing goodies for our give-aways.  In order to have a chance at any of our Super Sponsor prizes, just play along and share your creations with us HERE!

I created my first card/ornament combo featuring the yummy new stamps/die/stencil combo from Wendy Vecchi and Ranger called Warm Wishes.  I blended some Wendy Vecchi ink around the edges, stenciled the leaves, vines and berries (Potting Soil, Carnation Red, Fern Green, Leaf Green) and then stamped the sentiment along the edge.  I then splattered some black acrylic paint onto the panel to give it another layer of yumminess.

To create my "2020 COFFEE LOVERS Ornament, I machine stitched a pouch using a piece of laminated film and then tucked some coffee beans and grinds into the pouch.  After it was all sealed up, I added some ribbon, corrugated paper and some bakers twine/sparkle ribbon before attaching some buttons and a little tag.  I hung this on my cardfront using another piece of baker's twine and a foam square.  I love giving cards that have a multi purpose- and this one does the trick.
Thanks so much for hopping over to check out my card!  I hope it inspires you to create something FUN and coffee-licious!  See you again tomorrow for another fun hop project!

Brewtiful blessings...Miss Ink Stamps

Hello there inky friends! I'm excited to share that I've been invited to join the Miss Ink Stamps design team family and I'm so excited for the opportunity to create with their stamps!  Today is my first day sharing on the Miss Ink Stamps blog so I thought I would pop over here to share too.

I created this card with a few favorite sets:  Brewtiful and Gardenia.  I also used the Mouse Flower stencil for the embossed background as well as the yummy Fairy Dust glitter for the base of one of the yummy layers.

I added some of the gardenia leaves to the cup from the Brewtiful set and colored everything with some pretty aquas and lavenders.
I enjoy coloring, adding layering and attaching ribbon to my cards so this card was a little taste of my favorite things.
Thanks so much for hopping over to check out my card.  I hope it inspires you to get creative and make something pretty!  I'm looking forward to creating and sharing more creations with Miss Ink Stamps!

Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Hop Day 4

Hello there coffee loving crafty friends!  I'm back with DAY 4 of the Coffee Lovers Spring/Summer hop and today, I am sharing a card created using Super Sponsor UNITY red rubber stamps!

I created this card especially for those who made the ultimate sacrifice to keep the USA safe and secure throughout history.  I know there were so very many who also loved coffee, so this cups for them!!!  <3 .="" nbsp="" p="">
I used the Unity images "You Make Me Steamy" and "Dog Tags and Thanks" and paired it up with some fun patterned paper from my stash.  I added a few sparkly star sequins on the heart...
Link-up your projects HERE!
I think the subtlle circles and stars on this paper is so fun!
Take a closer peek...I distressed the edges just a bit before attaching to the card base.
Did you know Unity is giving away this amazing collection of coffeelicious goodies to one happy hopper?  Yep, so awesome!!!  Thank you Unity for providing such a great gift!
Thanks for hopping over to check out my card.  Hope to see you in the HOP roll soon!  I'm slowly making my way through the loads of gorgeous projects.

Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Hop Day 2: Super Sponsor The Cat's Pajamas!

Hello there inky friends!  It's DAY 2 of the Coffee Lovers Spring/Summer hop and today I'm sharing a fun and festive card featuring a brand new digi set available from The Cat's Pajamas!  This set is available for FREE...so hop on over and pick it up!  It's called "Essential PJ" set and it's perfect for a pick-me-up and for that little chuckle everyone needs from time to time.

I paired it up with an old TCP spring/summer die set of cute button-like flowers called "Flower Buttons".  Aren't they cute?

After coloring printing the image (and the sentiments on the inside and back of my card), I cut them out and colored them with Copic Markers.  I then assembled the flowers and the image onto the cardfront using foam squares.  To finish off the small flowers, I used Liquid Pearls and added some microfine glitter to make the centers sparkle.

I don't like "naked" buttons so of course I had to tie some Hemptique twine in various coordinating colors through the holes.  :)
Thanks to The Cat's Pajamas Stamps for being such a Super Sponsor!  I'll be back again tomorrow with another fun project featuring another Super Sponsor's products!  See you in hop land!  PS...Make sure to share your creations too.  I can't wait to check out the goodies today!!!

Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Hop Begins NOW!

Hello there coffee loving crafters!  I'm so excited to begin the Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers HOP today with everyone!  I've been gathering stamps and creating fun projects to share throughout the week and I can't wait to share them with everyone.  I can't wait to see what YOU have to share too!

I want to say thank you to all 73 of our Super Sponsors joining in on the fun and want to say THANK YOU FOR YOUR GENEROSITY and SUPPORT!  This "little" hop is always a RAY of Sunshine for many of us stampers and creators and this season, it brings some much needed LOVE and LIGHT to  us all!  Thank you to all the hoppers too!  Without YOU, we'd be just STUCK!
For my first project, I decided to work with Super Sponsor Graciellie Design's brand new COFFEE SET.  You can check it out HERE.
I started out by creating a RAINBOW COLLECTION of ATC cards to add to some white cardfronts. I think they turned out so HAPPY and encouraging.  The whole collection of cards will make someone smile!

Look at that line-up!  There's just something so happy about a rainbow!  Take a closer peek and you'll notice I added some coordinating "flicks" to each ATC and each card base so that the ATC blends seamlessly....yet makes that ATC the STAR!  Don'tcha just love it!?
 YUM!...
 Rainbows of fun!

And here you have it all wrapped up in a rainbow of Hemptique twine.  WAHOO!

Thanks for hopping over and I'll see you along the hop!  :).

Sunday Sip...Jump right in!

Hello there coffee loving friends!  I'm back with another Sunday Sip and Share over at the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog.  This week, I'm feeling much better (my back is healing nicely) and I can now get back to that big pile of crafty goodness on my stamping table.  A while back, I purchased a some coffee-related stamp sets at my favorite little stamp shop Butterfly Reflections Ink and  I'm slowly working through inking up everything in my order.  This week, I decided to get this adorable little gnome-y coffee set by Stamping Bella.  It's called Swimmer Gnomes.  I just love gnomes and they are having such a good time in this image, don't you think?
To create my card, I started out by stamping the gnome cup onto Neenah Solar White cardstock with RG Avenue Black Taffy Ink.  I fussy cut the image and started working on watercoloring it with watercolor pencils.  After that was done, I took those same pencils and splattered some ink on the cup to give it more depth and then added some splatters on a background page.  After that, I used some RG Avenue Dazzling Pat to splatter some shimmery spatters on the page.  When it was dry, I stamped the sentiment over it with VersaColor Black ink.

To finish the card off, I mounted the cup onto the splattered panel with foam squares and then mounted it onto a blue card base.

I hope you enjoyed this card and I'll see you again soon!

Sneaky Peek Week Day 6: 99 Cups of Coffee on the Wall...

Hello there inky friends!  Today is day 6 of Sneaky Peek Week at The Cat's Pajamas and we're sharing sneaks of the fun and funky "Silly Numbers" set!  With all the craziness happening right about now and all the coffee I've been going through lately, I thought I'd play a little twist on the "99 bottles of beer on the wall" theme.  Instead, I decided to use COFFEE...because, well, I've been drinkin' A LOT!

I paired the numbers set up with the fun "This Could Be Vodka" set because if I had any right now, my coffee cup might just become a vodka cup.  LOL.  Just kidding.  I'm hanging in there and although I'm on day 23 of being home-bound, I'm doing pretty well keeping myself sane and occupied.

Just a simple stamping with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink and some slight Copic coloring makes the numbers AND the cute cup stand out!  YUM!  Now I'm off to fill my coffee cup up with more java juice!  WOO!

Make sure to hop over to the TCP Blog to check out my fellow teamie's projects and leave some love.  You just may win a $10 gift from TCP that you can use to buy more crafty stuff!  YAHOO!

Coffee Love....Happy Valentine's WEEK!

Hello there inky friends! Today I'm sharing a few cards I created using the fun brand new stamp sets from RG Avenue. Heart Day (digital only) and Awesome Thoughts (stamp and digi options) are perfect for this season of LOVE!

To create my first card, I edited the images to my liking and then cut them out. I colored the images with Copic markers. I then brushed white acrylic paint onto a Gelli Plate and then dropped one drop of Sour Mist onto it then brushed it together to blend. I laid a piece of Powdered Sugar cardstock onto the plate and pressed the ink on. After that, I applied some sprinkles of RG Avenue Gold embossing powder onto the paint and then heat set it (from the underside) until it melted. Next I started assembling the collage.

When designing the cup, I opted to remove the whimsical heart and apply the "Hugs and Kisses" sentiment and a sketchy heart from the "Hello Beautiful" sentiment in the Awesome Thoughts set. I love this sketchy heart and it works perfectly for this design.
My second card was created in a similar manner however, I chose to use Rich Cherry and Sour Guava mixed with white acrylic ink (on my Gelli Plate). I then added RG Avenue Silver embossing powder in the same manner as before then added some flicks of black acrylic paint.
Again, I chose to remove the whimsical heart and instead added the fun sketchy heart onto each to-go cup. After coloring and cutting out the printed images, I assembled them onto a piece of ribbon with foam squares. I also applied black twine to the background to add to the movement of this card.

I really love how both cards turned out and I can't wait to share them with someone special this year.  :)

The Cat's Pajamas Sneak Peek Day 7: Year of the Rat

Hello there inky friends!  Today I'm joining my fellow Cat Packers as we sneak a peek at the new set "Year of the Rat".  Since my Chinese Zodiac animal is the Rat, I thought it was just perfect to play along with this set.  I love that it also includes a coffee cup...YUP...had to include that in my design!

This set and the coordinating dies are available today STAMPS HERE DIES HERE.
Make sure to hop along and check out all the sneaks of this fun set and leave some comments along the way for a chance at a great TCP Prize!

To create my card, I started out by stamping the mice on Neenah Solar White Cover Stock #110.  After stamping, I colored with Copics.  Next, I colored the "floor" and added some black microfine pen marks.  Next, I Used a blue Copic marker to color the "wallpaper".  After coloring, I added some "roses" with my copics and then embellished those with white Gelly Roll Pen.
To finish off my card, I stamped the sentiment and attached it with some pink Hemptique twine and then mounted the whole panel onto a white card base.  I love that the design completely fills the page.
Thanks for hopping over and I hope to see you tomorrow as we launch the brand new collection.  Do you have a favorite?
