Day 3: Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop...Warm Wishes

Hello there inky friends!  It's DAY 3 of the Fall Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!  Have you hopped with us yet?  Have you found some awesome inspiration?  I sure have!  I'm hopping along trying to keep up with all the fun posts and have identified several FAVORITES so far.  I'm so inspired.

Join the fun and hop along with us!  You can upload any crafty project that relates to our theme...and must contain coffee/tea/cocoa or cider theme.  :). Play along by sharing your project HERE.  Thanks again to all the SUPER SPONSORS who are contributing some amazing prizes!

Today, I'm featuring a card created using the fun images/ink and papers from Super Sponsor Richard Garay 88 and Clear!  As Richard transitions his company to a new brand "88 and Clear", he has begun sharing fabulous new RED RUBBER to the stamp collection.  Not only can you purchase RED RUBBER, you can also purchase clear stamps and digital images!

I'm playing with this adorable new RED RUBBER set called "Merry Merry".  It's a cute set that includes this adorable snowman, a cute Reindeer, a sweet cupcake, presents, snowflakes and sentiments too.  Choc full of FUN!

I created the fun background using the snowflakes and Tangy Berry, Sour Watermelon and Sour Crush  sugar cube inks on a piece of Tangy Berry cardstock.  I then created a tag by stamping the spiced drink mug and snowflakes onto some Powdered Sugar cardstock.  I stamped the snowman onto Powdered sugar cardstock, colored it with Copics and then fussy cut the image so that I could attach it to the card.

I wanted the sentiment to stand out so I stamped it onto a separate tag and attached it to the main tag before attaching everything to the top of my white card base.  Of course, I have an infatuation with buttons and ribbon, so I made sure to include those on this card.  :).

Thanks so much for hopping over to check out my card.  I hope it inspires you to create something yummy!  I'll be back again tomorrow with another fun project inspired by super delicious mocha chocolate!

Day 2: Fall Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop: Peppermint Mocha...

It's DAY 2 of the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Fall/Winter Hop and I'm sharing my second project...This time, it's all about the Peppermint Mocha!  Yesterday, I was able to pick up my first Peppermint Mocha (and a free to-go tumbler) from Starbucks to welcome in the holiday season!  I just LOVE Peppermint Mocha and thought it would be fun to whip up one on my card!

If you're new to the Coffee Lover Blog Hops, you're in for a treat!  Cardmakers all over the world come together to share their love of crafting and all things coffee/cocoa/tea and cider!  It's the perfect time to share and inspire each other...and have a chance to win some crafty prizes from our fabulous and generous Super Sponsors!  Thank you to our SUPER SPONSORS for your contrubutions for this fun yearly event!

To join in the fun, you can add your projects to our inlinkz HERE.  Just scroll down to the bottom of the post and add your link.  Once you do, you'll be set with an entry in all the prize drawings!

To create my card, I started out by scribbling some blue colors from my Caran d'Ashe water soluble crayons and then blended them togheter with water.  I then cut the panel and mounted it onto a red base before diecutting and adhering the cute cup/whipped cream from La La Land Crafts.  I also added some fun peppermint embellishments and a rainbow candy cane from Super Sponsor Twiddler's Nook.

Of course, the red/white bakers twine was a must addition and I also included a stitched yellow button to finish off the collage.
No need for a sentiment on this sweet notecard...I love that I'll be able to send it for practically any reason!

Thanks for hopping over and I'll be back again tomorrow with another fun project for the hop!

Day 1: Coffee Loving Cardmakers Fall/Winter Hop

Hey there inky friends!  Today is the first day of the FALL/WINTER COFFEE LOVERS BLOG HOP!  WOO HOO!  I'm so excited to be joining all my coffee-loving peeps as we celebrate our love of coffee/tea/cocoa/cider goodness...In crafty form!  All week long we'll be sharing projects we're proud of and we hope you'll join us in the fun!  Thanks to all of our amazing Super Sponsors, we have a TON of NEW and LOVED products on display and our Super Sponsors have once again shared some amazing goodies for our give-aways.  In order to have a chance at any of our Super Sponsor prizes, just play along and share your creations with us HERE!

I created my first card/ornament combo featuring the yummy new stamps/die/stencil combo from Wendy Vecchi and Ranger called Warm Wishes.  I blended some Wendy Vecchi ink around the edges, stenciled the leaves, vines and berries (Potting Soil, Carnation Red, Fern Green, Leaf Green) and then stamped the sentiment along the edge.  I then splattered some black acrylic paint onto the panel to give it another layer of yumminess.

To create my "2020 COFFEE LOVERS Ornament, I machine stitched a pouch using a piece of laminated film and then tucked some coffee beans and grinds into the pouch.  After it was all sealed up, I added some ribbon, corrugated paper and some bakers twine/sparkle ribbon before attaching some buttons and a little tag.  I hung this on my cardfront using another piece of baker's twine and a foam square.  I love giving cards that have a multi purpose- and this one does the trick.
Thanks so much for hopping over to check out my card!  I hope it inspires you to create something FUN and coffee-licious!  See you again tomorrow for another fun hop project!
