Day 3: Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop...Warm Wishes

Hello there inky friends!  It's DAY 3 of the Fall Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!  Have you hopped with us yet?  Have you found some awesome inspiration?  I sure have!  I'm hopping along trying to keep up with all the fun posts and have identified several FAVORITES so far.  I'm so inspired.

Join the fun and hop along with us!  You can upload any crafty project that relates to our theme...and must contain coffee/tea/cocoa or cider theme.  :). Play along by sharing your project HERE.  Thanks again to all the SUPER SPONSORS who are contributing some amazing prizes!

Today, I'm featuring a card created using the fun images/ink and papers from Super Sponsor Richard Garay 88 and Clear!  As Richard transitions his company to a new brand "88 and Clear", he has begun sharing fabulous new RED RUBBER to the stamp collection.  Not only can you purchase RED RUBBER, you can also purchase clear stamps and digital images!

I'm playing with this adorable new RED RUBBER set called "Merry Merry".  It's a cute set that includes this adorable snowman, a cute Reindeer, a sweet cupcake, presents, snowflakes and sentiments too.  Choc full of FUN!

I created the fun background using the snowflakes and Tangy Berry, Sour Watermelon and Sour Crush  sugar cube inks on a piece of Tangy Berry cardstock.  I then created a tag by stamping the spiced drink mug and snowflakes onto some Powdered Sugar cardstock.  I stamped the snowman onto Powdered sugar cardstock, colored it with Copics and then fussy cut the image so that I could attach it to the card.

I wanted the sentiment to stand out so I stamped it onto a separate tag and attached it to the main tag before attaching everything to the top of my white card base.  Of course, I have an infatuation with buttons and ribbon, so I made sure to include those on this card.  :).

Thanks so much for hopping over to check out my card.  I hope it inspires you to create something yummy!  I'll be back again tomorrow with another fun project inspired by super delicious mocha chocolate!

Club La-La Land Crafts October Kit: Winter Piggies!

Hello there inky friends!  Today I get to share my final two cards featuring the adorable new stamps in the October 2019 Club La-La Land Crafts kit.  This kit is so fun and playful!  It's perfect for my love of winter!  I love these little piggies so much!  How about you?  Have you been inspired by all the fabulous creations posted since its release?  I sure have!

Today I'm joining Larisa, Cathy and Bobbi as we share fun projects with this kit! We hope to inspire you to create something Ahhh-DORABLE too.

My first card features two cute little piggies having a ball out in the freezing cold environment.  They're building snowmen, making figure eights in the snow and keeping cozy in their warm clothes.
I gave the cute little piggie with the hat a fun hat pattern and a cozy red sweater.
I gave the second ice skating piggie a cozy blue sweater, hat and scarf.  I also added some icicles hanging down and the icy pond for them to play on.

Copics Used:
Pig 1: E93, V000, RV42
Shirt:  R17, R29, RV42
Ice Skating Pig: Gelly Roll White opaque pen,  B52, B12, W3, W5
Snowman and Snow/Ice:  C0, C2, B52, B12

My second card is a sweet pink girly card!  I wanted to feature the pinks and the whites so I used few colors on this design.  I opted for no color on my mountains and on my trees so that Marci can take center stage on this card
To  add a bit of whimsy, I stenciled (So Many Dots Layering Stencils) some white polka-dots onto the pink card base before adding the Kraft oval (Pierced Scalloped Ovals Die) and the mountain-snow scene.
I love Marci with freckles so I added a few light freckles on her face.  I also added some "texture" to her sweater by stippling some darker teals over the light color.
After stamping the sentiment, I flicked some white acrylic paint over the whole card to create a snowy effect.

Copics Used:
Marci Face/Legs:  YR00, E93, YR0000
Hair:  YR24, E23, E37, E47
Scarf, hat, mittens: RV10, RV21, BG32
Sweater Jacket: BG32, BG45,BG13, BG49
Sweater:  Y15, YR31, YR24, White Gelly Roll Pen

Winter Wishes...And a Challenge...

This week's challenge at the WoodwareUSA blog is to create a wintery card...Oh THAT'S not a problem for me!  I love ALL things Winter (except for accidents).

If you were on the WoodwareUSA blog, you are probably still wiping the drool off your chin.  Didn't you just LOVE the adorable cards created this week?   I think now that I've seen so many fabulous creations using the Winter Tots set, that's the next set on my list for sure!!!  It's so cute and I feel sorry for that little Winter Tot Boy who isn't getting any inky time!  LOL...

Today I'm sharing a card I created using the new set called "What Is It?".  And Really, What is that little bowling pin shaped thing supposed to be?  Take a look and try to guess...

Perhaps it might be a chicken, or how about a turkey or an owl?  Maybe it's a penguin or any bird for that matter...Or maybe, just maybe...If you REALLY Believe...It could be a....

Yeah, I gave this little snowy creature some antlers (Could Rudolph be hiding under there?), and some wings to fly away... So I call him a "SnowDeerAngel"...Yeah, That's a stretch, right?  He's cute though!

This is such a playful set and I'm envisioning using it for every holiday, you just wait and see!  Hmmm New Years?  Cheers!  Valentine's day "Cupid?"  Hmmmm....

HIDDEN CHALLENGE:  Even though the WoodwareUSA is hosting a challenge that delivers one MONTHLY prize, I'm offering up another prize, just this week!  So If you want a chance at winning THIS stamp set, just add a TWIST to a snowman (any stamp company), post your creation in my inlinkz below and you could win it!  Oh, make sure that I have a way to contact you.   The last winner of one of my challenges lost out on a fab. stamp set because I had no email contact through blogger, she didn't post their email, didn't have a blog post address, and didn't reply to my WINNER post...SO MAKE SURE I CAN CONTACT YOU IF YOU WIN!

You have until NEXT Monday to participate!  Please, only one original entry per person.  I will announce the winner on Tuesday evening.  Now I'm off to pray for a little snow!

Let's Build a Snowman!

Oh how I wish it would snow!!!  I LOVE snow and want it to come to Virginia soon.  We're expected to get RAIN tomorrow, but that's NO FUN!  I made a card today to get me even MORE in the MOOD for SNOW!!!  Nothing's better with snow than a little minty hot chocolate too!

I used my new A2 Embossing Folder by Basic Grey to emboss the bg paper...It matches her tights!
So this little card will be sent to one of my family members in Iowa or Minnesota.  They are having a HECK of a WINTER again and I'm so jealous of their snow adventures.  I wish I could head over there and hitch a ride on a snowmobile!!!  Anyway, I just got a few Your Next Stamp stamps in the mail last week and I just love these little girls.  They are so fun to color with my Copics so I had to buy some.  Since I was given the opportunity to be a guest designer last month, I thought it was only fitting to purchase some of the awesome new collection!  So you'll see more of these wintery cards posted in weeks to come.

To make this card, I stamped Ellie Building a Snowman on Copic XpressIT Card with Memento Black Ink.  I then colored the image using a TON of Copic colors (they're listed below).  I also used the sentiment "Let it Snow" from the set called Penguin Greetings and you'll see something cute with that set in a few days!

I loved the colors in the paper pack I received last week so I just had to use the colors again in a Christmas card this year.  For some reason, the plum and sky blue color just speak to me this year...I love these colors together for Christmas.

I added some white snowballs using my multiliner pen.  I removed color using my colorless blender.
Here are the Copic Deets:
B0000, 00, 02; BG0000, 01; G00;  BV0000, 000, 00, 13; V04, 06; E00, 09, 11, 25, 31, 53, 55; YR02, 20, 61, Colorless Blender, Multiliner .03

Have a HAPPY DAY!!! See you tomorrow.
