National Coffee Day: Super Sponsor Pink and Main!

Hello there coffee-loving crafters!  WOO HOO!  Today's the day!  National Coffee Day is here and I've got several projects to share with you.  I like to keep manufacturers separate (just one of my quirks) so check out my other posts today to get your coffee fix!

For this post, I'm featuring some fun new crafty goodies I purchased from Pink and Main.  They have several inky coffee sets and of course I had to jump on the "PUMPKIN SPICE" set.  I paired it up with the fun "FOUR POINT STAR" stencil.
I started out by using my blending brush to create a fun lime green background.  I then used my Misti to stamp the images with black ink and then fussy cut/colored them.  I used the following Copic colors to make the images come to life:  YR16, YR18, YR24, YR61, Y23, YG 25, V04, V12, E50
To finish off my card, added the sentiment and then tied some orange satin ribbon around the card.  Finally, I attached a green button with some Hemptique twine.

I also created a cute little matching tag with some of the additional pumpkin spice images in this set.  NOM NOM NOM!
A closer peek will show the colors and the yummy detail of these fun images!
Thanks for hopping over to my blog!  I hope you're hopping along with all the Super Sponsors!  Make sure to leave comments on the CLC Blog, and all the super sponsor blogs that are participating in today's hop!  You'll have until Sunday, Oct. 6th @11:59 Pacific time to leave comments for a chance to win a coffee-crafty prize!

Let the Good Times Roll...Mardi Gras with Joy Clair

Hey there Joy Clair friends!  I'm joining my fellow Joy Clair Teamies as we prepare for Mardi Gras and the beginning of the Easter season.  We're hopping today to share some fun projects created featuring the new Color By Faith set called Unashamed.   Make sure you hop to each blog post and leave some love for your chance to win a fabulous Joy Clair prize!
If you've arrived here from Connie's blog, you're hopping right along.  If not, you can refer to the complete long roll below:

I created a goofy "selfie" framed page and some fun "beads".  To create my "beads", I punched several green, yellow and purple circles with my small circle punch.  After gathering a bunch, I attached them to a piece of gold thread using some of my favorite white craft glue.  Next, I stamped them using the "gemstones" in this set.  Some of the gems were embossed with silver sparkly embossing powder from Hero Arts.
After stamping, I attached some green flower sequins (from Studio Katia) and then added a dollop of Fantom Sparkle Nuvo Drops to the centers.  Next, I moved on to taking my selfie.  I really LOATHE taking selfies- but I needed one for this project so I stood in front of a bright window and smiled.  UGHH. I printed this on my Polaroid Zip and then started working on a mask to cover my mug.  HEE HEE.
To create my mask, brushed some pink, orange and yellow neon ink onto a piece of white cardstock then I splattered ink on that.  I then stamped the feather in the set over the top (with Versafine Onyx ink) and then stamped the mask.  I embossed the ink with the same silver sparkle embossing powder as before.  Next, I cut out the mask and popped it over my photo using pop-dots.
I assembled the shot with some "frames" diecuts from Sugarpea Designs and a few cuts from the holepunched paper.
To finish off everything, I stamped the sentiment along the green edge with Versafine Onyx ink.  So fun, so crazy...Just like Mardi Gras!  HEE HEE...

I hope my project inspires you to grab this set and let the good times roll! Thanks for hopping with us.  Please hop on over to Karen's blog for more inspiration!
