If you've arrived here from Connie's blog, you're hopping right along. If not, you can refer to the complete long roll below:
I created a goofy "selfie" framed page and some fun "beads". To create my "beads", I punched several green, yellow and purple circles with my small circle punch. After gathering a bunch, I attached them to a piece of gold thread using some of my favorite white craft glue. Next, I stamped them using the "gemstones" in this set. Some of the gems were embossed with silver sparkly embossing powder from Hero Arts.
After stamping, I attached some green flower sequins (from Studio Katia) and then added a dollop of Fantom Sparkle Nuvo Drops to the centers. Next, I moved on to taking my selfie. I really LOATHE taking selfies- but I needed one for this project so I stood in front of a bright window and smiled. UGHH. I printed this on my Polaroid Zip and then started working on a mask to cover my mug. HEE HEE.
To create my mask, brushed some pink, orange and yellow neon ink onto a piece of white cardstock then I splattered ink on that. I then stamped the feather in the set over the top (with Versafine Onyx ink) and then stamped the mask. I embossed the ink with the same silver sparkle embossing powder as before. Next, I cut out the mask and popped it over my photo using pop-dots.I assembled the shot with some "frames" diecuts from Sugarpea Designs and a few cuts from the holepunched paper.
To finish off everything, I stamped the sentiment along the green edge with Versafine Onyx ink. So fun, so crazy...Just like Mardi Gras! HEE HEE...
I hope my project inspires you to grab this set and let the good times roll! Thanks for hopping with us. Please hop on over to Karen's blog for more inspiration!

How cool that you used a selfie and put a mask on it, it so reminded me of a Shakespeare quote that brought me back to college days and teaching days lol. As he said "the world is but a stage and we are merely the actors" I am sure I did noy quote exactly, but the mask on your selfie brought thay to mind. So sorry for the length but must thank you so much for sharing your talents and inspiration.
