The Rabbit Hole Designs and Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog Hop

Hey there!  Thanks for hopping over!  If you've arrived here from Dana's blog, you've almost finished your adventure into the rabbit hole.  I hope you've been inspired!

I'm THRILLED The Rabbit Hole Designs asked us designers at Coffee Loving Cardmakers to help introduce them to the stamping (and coffee-loving) world through this fun hop. Let's take a peek at the coffee stamps available in their launch, shall we?  PSSST...You can click on each image below to go directly to each product in their SHOP HERE!

So, whaddaya think?  Do you have a favorite?  I'm pretty inspired by all of them and I have a sneaking inclination that a few of my coffee loving pals are too.

FREE SHIPPING!  Free shipping on orders of $15.00 before tax and shipping (US orders only).  No code necessary, exclusions apply.

I decided to create a reverse image card using my Gelli Plate.  To create a reverse image, I just took the stamp, inked it up with Versafine Onyx Ink and then pressed it onto the Gelli Plate.  I then pressed white cardstock on the image and lifted the image onto the paper.  I hit it with my heat gun to set the ink and then started coloring with Copics.  I used the following Copic colors:
RV91, 32; E04; BG72; B52; E71; W7; Y21; E50 and white Jelly Roll.
After coloring the dino, I applied some ivory acrylic paint to the Gelli Plate, dropped a few drops of Pink distressoxide ink and then pressed my cardstock to the plate and lifted to reveal the color.  Next, I applied a bit of vintage brown distress oxide ink and then spritzed with water so it would run like drippy coffee.  I hit it with the heat gun again to make it dry.

Next, I stitched the background paper with my sewing machine and mounted this panel onto some gray cardstock.  I then spritzed some white ink and sparkle ink onto the panel so that some of the distress oxide ink could react.  I stamped the sentiment and then mounted the dino with foam squares.  To finish off the card, I applied various sequins and silver pearls as well as some pink/bown twine.

The Rabbit Hole Designs and Coffee Loving Cardmakers Preview

Hello there Coffee Loving Crafters!  I'm thrilled to be welcoming The Rabbit Hole Designs to the stamping community and am excited they asked the CLCDT to join them in their launch debut!  What a special privilege to be able to help reveal their images and products with the stamping community!  Products will be available for purchase beginning Friday, January 11th at 4PST.  For additional information, please visit their blog HERE.

Today, I'm sharing a preview of an adorable new stamp called Caffeinated Dino by The Rabbit Hole Designs.  All the "Caffeinated critters" in this collection just make me smile and I had such a blast playing with this stamp set.
Cute 'eh?  Each one of these Caffeinated critters sets comes with two fun sentiments, a large critter image as well as the caffeine molecule image...SO FUN!

When I started coloring this fun dino, all I could focus on was his/her slug-like eyes.  They made me go "UGGH" thinking that poor dino has gone without coffee for AGES!  Can you imagine?  Well, I can't either!  I decided to color up the dino using some spekledy coloring and gave her/his mug a little RaeDunnification.  ;)
I mean really, such a rough life-even her/his slippers are feeling the pain!  I added the caffeine molecule image in the background to just whisper to that dino that I get it, It's definitely time for some java...

To celebrate today's previews, The Rabbit Hole Designs is offering a SWEET prize to two lucky winners.  Each winner will be awarded their choice of one stamp set from The Rabbit Hole Designs collection.  Leave a comment by 11:59 PST on January 18 for your chance to win!  The lucky winners will be selected at random from the participating blogs so make sure to visit and comment at each stop!  Winners will be announced on The Rabbit Hole Designs BLOG and the Coffee Loving Cardmakers BLOG on 1-21-2019.
