Sneaky Peek Week Day 1: Laundry Day!

Hello there inky friends!  It's TIME!  Yes!  It's time for The Cat's Pajamas SNEAKY PEEK WEEK and we've got some fun in store this week!  First off, we've got to get the laundry done after all this time off.  LOL...SOOO...Let's take a peek at the first set sneaking in today:  Spring Cleaning!

This is such a fun set...especially for those who DO NOT LIKE HOUSE CHORES.  I dislike putting the folded laundry away the most!  How about you?!  LOL

I created this card by first stamping and coloring the images.  I used Copics and watercolor pencils to add some fun pops of color and shading.  After that, I used the chisel edge of the Copic to create bricks then colored over them with colored pencils and Copics.  I then added toe gray "floor" to help ground my collage of images.

After assembling my card, I added the sentiment onto white cardstock and then added a thought bubble around that.  I felt it fit the playful theme of the stamp images.

Hop on over and take a peek at the rest of The Cat Pack’s goodies, and then comment on each of the following blogs and you could win a $10 gift voucher. We’ll pick a winner each day this week from the comments on the blogs and post the winners here and on our Facebook page.

TCP Sneak Peek Week Day 4: Pattern Builder

Hello there inky friends!  I'm BACK!  Hee hee.  Today is Day 4 of The Cat's Pajamas Sneaky Peek Week.  We're sharing some fun inspiration featuring the brand spankin' new stencil called "Pattern Builder".  It's a pretty fun collection of pieces and parts to mix and match when stenciling fun plaid and linear patterns.  I chose to layer the thinnest stripes stencil three times (once with lime green and twice with cranberry red) to get my fun plaid pattern.  After stenciling, I added some black lines with my Staedtler Multiliner .01 pen and placed a dot at each intersection.

I decided to pair up this plaid with one of my favorite holiday die sets from The Cat's Pajamas.  J*Y is a fab trio of dies that when put together, create the perfect "Joy" sentiment.  Adding a little sparkly snowflake was just what this card needed to bring it over the top!
Thanks for hopping over to my blog to check out my project today.  I hope it inspires you to get your stencils out and make that plaid!  This stencil collection is available TODAY so hop over to the shop and pick one up HERE.  Also...  Make sure to visit each inspiration Sneaky Peek blog and leave a comment.  You just might win a fab gift certificate from TCP stamps!
