Hey there inky friends! It's DAY 3 of The Cat's Pajamas SNEAKY PEEK WEEK! Are you excited about the newest stamps/dies to be released this month? Stunners I tell you! I'm thrilled to be back again today to share a sneaky peek of the gorgeous new stamp set called "Henna Tattoos". This set is a collection of gorgeous designs that work perfectly for those bold backgrounds! The sentiments are just beautiful too! I'm pairing up my set with a cute little sneak-of-a-sneak birdcage die...More about that another day! If you love this set and can't wait until the release on May 28, you can purchase this set TODAY so hop over to the store and grab yours!
To create my card, I started out by stamping the biggest henna pattern onto white cardstock with clear embossing ink. I then applied some Hero Arts White Puff Powder and heat it up to create a fun and textured embossed design. Next, I used Tombow markers to create a pretty watercolored background.
After that, I diecut the birdcage and stamped the sentiment (and fussy cut it out) I added a few birds to the birdcage then started applying the embellishing touches. Of course, I added some yummy ribbon and taupe seam binding.
Notice the little pastel/Sherbet holeless sequins? They're NEW too Grab 'em
HERE...a little sneak you need to add to your MUST HAVE list. Yep, they are a MUST!
After tying the ribbon onto the card panel, I attached this panel to a white card base and my card was complete.
Thanks for hopping over to check out my project. I hope my project inspired you today! Please hop over to the
