National Bubble Tea Day! Coffee Loving Cardmakers and Trinity Stamps at play...

Hey there inky friends!  Today I'm joining my fellow Coffee Loving Cardmakers teamies and the Trinity Stamps team as we celebrate National Bubble Tea Day with a fun collaboration blog hop!

One reader will be randomly selected to receive a $25 Trinity Gift Card. Leave your comments on all participating blogs by Wednesday, May 8th at 11:59pm Pacific, then look for the winner announcement on the CLC blog the following week.

I LOVE Bubble Tea.  How about YOU?  My favorite is Taro Root Milk Tea (no sugar) and I also love yummy Mango Tea as well as Green Tea with Boba.  What's your fave?

I usually make my own Bubble Tea at home as the tea shop I enjoy visiting is a pretty long trek away from me.  To learn how to make bubble tea, I watched a few videos on youtube and then I felt comfortable purchasing tapioca pearls at my local asian market and on Amazon.
If you've arrived here from the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog, you're rolling right along!  Let me get on with sharing my projects with you!  I chose to use the adorable Seasonal Sweetheart stamp set and played around with the sweet girl in the set.  Of course, I had to add her little friend, Bear.  She's standing in line at her local tea shop waiting to order her favorite flavor of Boba Tea.  Don't you just love the wallpaper in that shop?  Hee hee.

I used some yummy earthy shades of Copics to create the wallpaper design and carried the color into the little girl design.  I also popped in a few hearts using some coordinating colors.
A sweet little abalone heart button helped bring the LOVE to this sweet card.
For my second project, I altered a glass 1820 Sweet Cream Iced Coffee  bottle (It's DEELISH!) so that I could reuse it with some homemade Boba.

To create the inky design, I applied watercolor onto a strip of white cardstock then splattered some ivory paint on it.  After that, I stamped some hearts from the stamp set to create the "boba theme".  I then added a sentiment and applied some cute coffee colored heart sprinkles and some "Soapy Bubbles" embellishment sequins.
I attached my inky panel onto the bottle using double sided tape then attached the aqua ribbon I received with my order at the bottom of the panel.  I stuck 6 red boba straws into the jar to prep it for future sippin'.
Yummmm....  I'm ready for the boba!
Thanks so much for hopping over today!  I hope you were inspired by my projects!  Thanks to Trinity Stamps for the opportunity to collaborate with you!  Please head on over to Erin's blog to check out her creations!

And here's my tasty Mango Bubble Tea:

You can create this recipe using any fruits, just switch out the mango for your favorite fresh fruit!

Steep 2 Black Tea bags (I use Hong Kong Black Tea) in about 1/2 cup water for about five minutes.  After steeping, place tea in blender.
Add two scoops of powdered creamer (or Coconut milk or any Nut Milk) to the blender.
Add organic sugar or sweetener to your liking
Add 1/3 c fresh mango
Blend together until the cream creates a little foam on top.

In a glass (I use a Mason jar) add 1/4 cup tapioca pearls or coconut jellies.  I make my own pearls and soak them in honey and keep in the fridge until I need them.

Pour Mango Tea into glass and serve with a big boba straw!  YUM, YUM!

I'll have a few more recipes on my blog posts during the Coffee Lovers Hop so make sure to stop by!
PS...Hop on over to Trinity Stamps blog post too.  They are sharing a fun free boba digi!!!
