Hello there inky friends! Today is Sneaky Peek Day 5 at The Cat's Pajamas and today we're sharing inspiration with the fun set "
Christmas Tree Lot". I created a pint-sized card that fits perfectly in a standard mail envelope...You know, the old school envies! I call it a REVERSAL of the Slimline trend. HA HA.
I love the filigree designs in this set so I started out by creating a red panel with stamped sides. I then tied some black seam binding around it and stamped/colored the fun tiny tree. I fussy cut the tree and turned it into a little tag to hang from the seam binding.
After that, I mounted it onto a few different teal cardstock panels so that it would fit (with a little white edge on the top and bottom) of the pint-sized card base. After adding some bling, I stamped the envelope a bit with the same stamp set so that it could play nicely with the card. I can't wait to send this card to someone special!
