November New Release Hop with TCP

Hello there TCP fans!  Today's the day!  We're sharing the full November release at The Cat's Pajamas!  I'm excited to be sharing a card featuring the fun new dies "Stitched" Dies. These are some great dies that include a fun stitched border die and a coordinating sentiment on the inside that can be used as a cut-out or a stand alone diecut sentiment!  They include:  Stitched Big Hugs, Hello, Thanks, Beautiful

They also coordinate nicely with the Big Word Basics stamp set.

To create my card, I started out by using some Nuvo Shimmers on a piece of white cardstock.  I spritzed and dried then spritzed a bit of Tsukineko Shimmerz Spray for added shimmer and shine.  Once it was completely dry, I cut out the stitched border and sentiment.  I set the sentiment scraps aside and cut it one more time to allow me to have a white sentiment to insert into my panel.  I also diecut another stitched border (by itself) and glued the colorful one on top to allow for my sentiment to be attached easily.  

After assembling the sentiment, I set out to decorate my card.  I attached some golden washi tape some golden pearls, the leftover hearts and some additional golden hearts (stamped from the Big Word Basics stamp set) and embossed with Hero Arts embossing glitter.

I attached some holeless sequins, added a "Hey Bae" sentiment from the One Liners stamp set and some golden thread to finish it off!

TCP Sneaky Peek Day!

Hello there TCP fans!  Today I'm giving you a little sneaky peek of a new stamp set available tomorrow on the TCP website!  This stamp set is called Big Word Basics.  It's a great set that coordinates perfectly with the new "Stitched" series of dies that are also being released this month! I selected the super fine sentiment "Beautiful" and paired it up with some beautiful new paper from Echo Park called "COFFEE".   I stamped this sentiment using Versafine Onyx Ink and then mounted the oval diecut onto the paper with foam squares.  

I also diecut the little leaves from the Veggies dies and added some pink flowers to them to mimic the carnation buds on the printed paper.  I also cut some peachy flowers to mimic the flowers in the paper.

A little golden sparkly satin ribbon helps kick this card up a notch and allows for that sentiment to take a little "fancy schmancy" walk across the page, dontcha think?

Let's take a peek at another card featuring some fun little stamp/die combo.  I created this card using the same leafy diecut and the fun little tomato stamp (and the little smiley face)

Aren't they just the cutest?!  I added some peas in the background just to give those maters a more mater-ey look instead of an orange look.  Hope that worked!

Taking a bit of Copic to the little peas helped give them a bit more POP!  I also splattered the page with a little white ink to help the image come to life.
