Heartfelt Creations August Alumni Hop: Tiny Toes...

Hello there inky friends!  Today I'm joining my fellow Heartfelt Creations Alumni Designers as we share inspiration featuring products from the awesome Heartfelt Creations shop!  Our hop this month begins at 8:00 AM August 28 and closes on Monday August 31 at 11:55 PM.  Start the hop RIGHT HERE on Kathy's blog.

One randomly chosen comment from a mystery Alumni blog will receive a $25 gift certificate to shop at the HC store.  To claim your prize, please email Heartfelt Creations at socialmedia@heartfeltcreations.us with "Winner of the August Alumni Hop" in the subject line.  This month's hop winner will be announced on Wednesday, September 2, on the HC Facebook page.

I decided to create a Tiny Toes birth announcement featuring the beautiful Oakberry Lane stamps, dies and blossoms shaping mold.  I also used the yummy Lettuce Entertain You Prills.

I started out by stamping and coloring the flowers and the leaves using yummy Wendy Vecci Blendable Inks.  I also blended some ink along the edge of a white piece of cardstock and then stamped some leaves around the edge.  I colored the leaves lightly with watercolor pencils and then flicked some of the watercolor on the page to give it a bit of splattering.  I then used an orange Copic color to add color to a white edge of a piece of cardstock so that I could mount my leafy panel to it.  I mounted the panels together and machine stitched the edge to finish this panel off before attaching the leaves and flowers.

I attached the leaves (a mix of stamped and diecut and just diecut leaves and then attached the flowers here and there.  I made sure to attach some yummy prills to make the flowers come to life.  Before mounting on a white panel, I attached an aqua ribbon bow and some added pieces of ribbon.

I printed off a cute set of tootsies using my Polariod Zink and then curled the edges before tucking the photo into my flower spray.  I attached this panel to a white panel and then to a light aqua card base and voila...done.

Thanks for hopping over!  Please check out my fellow Alumni teamie Vicki Dutcher.  I'm attaching the full hop line-up below to help you on your way.
