Hey there inky friends! Today I'm playing along with the AAA Cards CAS Game #140 and giving a little sneaky peek of a new set that will become available TOMORROW at Joy Clair. Check out the Joy Clair blog for a bit more info! This sentiment set "BOSS BABE" is the perfect little set for some fun and quirky/Girly CAS cards.
I also pulled in a bit of ELECTRIC PINK Bazzill Cardstock for some FUNK! hee hee...
To create my card, I made a custom mix of pink acrylic paint by mixing some electric pink colorant with some ivory acrylic paint. I slapped that on my Electric Pink cardstock like some wild and crazy lipstick. The image does not do this color justice...It is REALLY a NEON pink!
I paired up the "lipstick" with the awesome sentiment "Be as bold as your lipstick" and added some extra embellishing touches. YES, I know...Embellishments...CAS? ummm...YES, for me, this card is totally CAS...I cannot make a card that does not have some embellishing. This card does have RESTRAINT (as compared to almost all of my other creations so I can say with confidence, THIS IS AS CAS AS I GET! ha ha. If a challenge is a challenge, then this CAS thing is absolutely the most challenging thing about cardmaking for me. SO I took that challenge and slayed it...I think. ha ha.
So be BOLD, Do your THANG! I did mine!
