Heartfelt Creations Alumni DT Hop...

Hello stamping friends!  I'm hopping along with the other Alumin DT memebers this month and was excited that I actually had my project done EARLY...and WOO HOO...I made two cards this time!  If you're just happening upon my blog, here's the complete blog hop list for your hopping pleasure!
After creating the first card, I used the extra scraps to make another little card.  I love it when I immediately use my scraps!
Here's the first card.  I wanted to create a little flowery background paper for this simple card.  I saw another card with a "peekaboo" panel and thought it was such a nice effect so I decided to try it out.
I used one of my most favorite sets ever, I think.  It seems that's the set I always grab.  Posy Patch Flowers HCPC 3303.  It works well with the scripture from the sentiment set Uplifting Scriptures HCPC 3312.
I've had some of my oldest ink pads on my work desk for a few weeks now.  Hero Arts made some Memories Ink shadow pads a long time ago and I got every color. (I think I got them when I first started stamping many moons ago) and they are as juicy as the day I got them.  I have been keeping them on my work space because it seems I use whatever I have on my desk rather than getting up and moving to get other ink.  On these projects, I used Soft Rose,Soft Mauve, Soft Lilac and the sentiment was stamped in Dark Blackberry.
This was created from the scraps!  FUN, huh?
I used stamped some of the tiniest leaves (Elegant Single Leaves HCPC 3314) and flowers (Posy Patch Flowers HCPC 3303) then used some Copics to color the flowers/leaves.  RV32, 11: R22: E53; YG23, 67
This time, I pulled out the sentiment set HCPC 3363 Inspire Me.  It's a perfect everyday sentiment set!

Thanks for stopping by to check out my creations on this hop.  If you're interested in winning the $25.00 Gift Certificate to the Heartfelt Creations Store, please comment on my blog and on other blogs in the hop.  Comments will be accepted until midnight March 1 and the winner will be announced on March 2.

Please head over to Dina's blog now.
