Hey there inky friends! It's DAY 6 of Sneaky Peek Week at The Cat's Pajamas and we're celebratin' with a sneak of this adorable set called SUN PLEASE! I just love this adorable little mouse and ladybug combo..SOOOOO Cute!
After coloring up the mouse chatting with his ladybug friend, I decided it would be fun to mimic the dots on the ladybug in a background panel. I took some Copic Grays (cools) and colored some dots on a white panel and then popped the image panel on that before adding a strip of red on the image panel and then tying with some twine and button. I think the little strip of red paper helps define the boundary of the image panel but still helps maintain the stark white CASish design I was after.
And yes...LADYBUGS are Valentine-ey right? HEE HEE...Too maintain the theme I've worked on for this release, I think it works perfectly. HA HA
