Anything Goes at WoodwareUSA!

The challenge at WoodwareUSA blog this week is ANYTHING GOES!!! Oh that is BIG

Copic Colors Used:  RV29, R17, Y17, YG13, BG01, 0
I decided to step into trying a new-to-me- product. I don't usually care for stickers and never use them on my products, but there's something about those European silver, gold, white and black stickers that look like raised heat embossing that GETS ME! It's hard to imagine the possibilities when looking at a package of these stickers hanging on the wall, but let me tell you, they are REALLY beautiful when peeled away from their backing!!! I mean seriously, I was SHOCKED when I peeled my first piece off and started to play around...I just may be hooked...Too bad I only have two packages right now!

I chose some POINSETTIA Peel Off Stickers in gold. These sticker packs are very reasonable at $2.99 per pack! The "embossing" reminded me of stained glass leadding, so I jumped from there to create my piece. Since I only have a few packages now, I can only make a few cards and boy, I need more!

This is the complete card I created for the challenge this week. I tried to stay bright and cheerful like the stained glass that shines so beautifully in churches and windows...

As you can see in the close-up, I also added some background stamping (Leafy Swirls) using INKY LINKS BLUE CHUNKS INK to blend in with the background paper (It's kinda like watermark stamping).

SO, if you're interested in participating in the challenge this week, It's anything goes!  Load your card creation into the inlinkz system on the WoodwareUSA blog post and you could win a STAMP SET!!! Easy, peasy!

***Don't forget, The free Inky Link Of Your Choice with stamp set purchase ends DEC. 25.  Also, the 22% discount applies to all orders, just use the promo code:  DISCOUNT.

Anything Goes at WoodwareUSA!

Yes, it's Anything Goes week at WoodwareUSA and today I decided to share a card I created using a TESSLER Stencil AND a WoodwareUSA Set. Did you know that Tessler Stamps stock WoodwareUSA Clear Magic Stamps in their show booths? Yep, that's right! You can pick up your stamps, your stencils, your supplies...The whole shabang in one quick stop at a convention or show.

While in Virginia Beach a few months ago, I picked up some fun stencils (they also emboss in my Cuttlebug) and knew I was going to go to town!!!I picked up this marigold or mum (depending on the season, I guess) Embossing Queen stencil called Heart Flower and I really love using it. It makes awesome backgrounds and fun little embellishments. After stenciling it with distress inks and embossing it in my Cuttlebug, I decided to pair it up with my Garden Greetings Sentiment and little bee to make this card! FUN huh?

Don't you just adore that little bee? It is included in this fun sentiment set that with a variety of flowers, garden bugs and of course, a watering can!!! LOVE IT!!! I paired up my images with some deelish Crate Paper patterned paper and some brown grossgrain ribbon. Such a simple and fun card to make!!!

Bye for now,
Kerry
