TCP Tuesday #369: Patterned Paper

Hello there crafty peeps!  Today I'm joining my fellow Cat Pack teamies as we hop into the new TCP Tuesday fun!  This month's challenge is all about that patterned paper so dig through your stash and get crafty!  I grabbed a few coordinating sheets of patterned paper (very thin paper) from an old patterned paper pad called "Ninth Street" by The Paper Studio and arranged them in a fun layout then stitched the edges with my machine.  I then mounted that onto some black cardstock and then started working on the sentiment...

Since I wanted the focus to be the fun patterns on the paper, I selected a fun sentiment to mesh perfectly with these papers.  After stamping the HELLO sentiment from SCRIPTED SENTIMENTS on white paper using Versafine Onyx ink, I fussy cut the sentiment.  I also added some shimmer using microfine glitter.
After that, I added some more patterned paper to a panel and then attached some black seam binding to this panel before popping the sentiment onto the panel.  I mounted this design onto a teal card base and voila!  I can't wait to send this little hello to someone soon!

Thanks for hopping over to check out my card.  I hope you join us in playing along with this month's challenge.  Remember, you don't have to use TCP images, just make sure to link your card to our challenge post for a chance to win the prize!!!  Check out the TCP Tuesday post HERE for all the deets.
