I had some time to play in my stamping room this weekend and decided to start making some Mother's Day items for my Etsy shop. Not sure if this is one item that's going there or not. I like it so much I might give it to my mom...We'll see...So here it is...a shadow box. I love making shadow boxes!
This initially started out as a 6x6 card but I liked it so much that I decided to trim it down so it could fit into a 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 shadow box. I painted the shadow box to match the patterned paper. The image was completely cut out and applied to another stamped image (that was highlighted with BG0000 to give it some added depth, highlighting, and texture.

What a beautiful project. I'm sure any Mother would love it. On your close-up picture of Tilda, your gorgeous coloring can easily be seen. Nice job. Can you tell us where you purchased the shadow box. You mentioned that you painted it to match your project, so I'm wondering if it was unfinished wood?
