Now on to my project:
I made a quick and easy birthday card to add to birthday mailing list. April and May are busy months so I've been prepping and preparing for the rush!
I love this little rose bouquet in the Doorway Trimmings Precut Set. It's the perfect little addition to a CAS card like this one. I stamped the flower bouquet using Memento Tuxedo Black, and a strip of white cardstock then colored both with my Copic Markers (R000, RV32, R85; B000; BG01; G12, G24, G82, YG25). I added the colored strip edge of the inside panel then used my Fiskars Threading Water punch (an oldie but goodie) to give the edge some contrast. I used some Colorbox Creamy Brown ink to stamp the sentiment (from the Belated Birthday Wishes Precut Set) on the front of the sky blue cardstock.
Adding a little white seam binding and distressing with my dry Versafine Onyx pad helped to make this card complete. A closer look at the vase shows the glaze and some ultrafine glitter and a little Stickles on the flowers.
Pretty, Pretty! Here's what the complete card looks like laying flat. You can see more of the inside edge detail in this photo.
I hope you enjoyed my creation. Please hop over to the other blogs that are participating in this hop. I hope you enjoy the projects and are inspired to create your own. :) See you next month!
