So I had TONS of fun creating a card using this sketch. I can say that I now have about four or five basic layouts (minus the focal image) ready to turn into cards...I just had the hardest time making the perfect one for the image I colored so it took me about five tries at this layout to find something "acceptable". Anyway, here's my finished card and all the close-ups...
I used a couple Woodware sets with this card. Ted in the Garden (so cute!) and Leafy Swirls I also used some patterned paper Dawn sent me to use on future projects! Of course you know me and ribbon, I used two colors since I still have almost 1000 yards of those colors in my stamping room.
Take a close look too and you'll see that I added some stickles to the watering can (water) and the leaves in the background. Ted is colored with my copics...I didn't keep track of the colors.
The card needed a sentiment so I added a little tab on the side too! There you have it, a fun little card for someone special!

ReplyDeleteLove the sketch! Hopefully I'll get some time to play!
ReplyDeletefirst of all, *thank you* for designing such a great sketch! and secondly, this card is adorable! I love what you did with the leafy swirls set, the glitter makes it look like manufactured patterned paper!
