It's a Glimmery kind of day!

I've been playing around with some new sparkly Glimmer Mist misting spray that I picked up at my LSS a few days ago. I love it because it adds color and mica shimmer to whatever you spray.

Here are a few cards I made today using the Glimmer Mist. You can't see the mica action from the picture (interference inks don't show their true sparkle on camera) but I swear it's very sparkly!

Then I played around with one of my Cuttlebug embossing folders as well as the cute little fishes die I've had for a while but had not used yet. The white at the bottom of the seaweed is actual sand glued to the paper. It kinda looks like cotton or melting snow in the picture don't you think??? The "Hi" sentiment comes from the retiring set Nobby Knees (If you are interested in ordering this set, it can be purchased for a limited time at a 25% discount. Just email me.) The shimmer is just lovely IRL.

Here's another card I created with Glimmer Mist, my Cuttlebug two-cut flowers, TAC stamp set Nobby Knees (sentiment and stem) and BLine landscape stamp (in the blue shimmer flower).

Here's a little tip too...When you are cutting your TAC stamps for the first time and you have all that extra "junk" rubber to throw away, keep the parts with the lines. You can make curvy stamped lines with these just by bending the ez-mount remnant on an acrylic block. Also save the two teardrop parts of the Cuttlebug flower. You can use those for buds!

I'm working on some more Glimmer Mist items. I really love that stuff!!! You can find out more about it or buy some yourself through their website:

PS...All the colors are toooooo tooo yummy!

  2. I love your cards. The fish one would be perfect for my little nephew's birthday. I may have to case that one :)
