March Heartfelt Creations Alumni Hop...

Hello stamping friends!

It's that time of the month (well, maybe not THAT time of the month!  HA HA) and I'm here to join the Heartfelt Creations Alumni Design team as we Hop, Inspire, Hop and Create with the fabulous stamps and products from the shop.  Please join us along the way and don't forget to leave some love on our blogs. One lucky hopper/commenter will win a 25.00 gift certificate to the Heartfelt Creations webstore!

Here's the blogroll of my fellow alum who are ready to share their projects with us.  I'm excited to find out what they have created this month!  I hope you are too!

My project was created with purpose in mind.  I wanted to create a banner to add to my Easter Egg wreath I made this year.  I love displaying wreaths on my door all year long and decided that I would spiff it up a bit with a welcoming crafty banner to bless the season!
The pictures were taken just as the sun was beginning to set so I got a few more shadows than I wanted.  In any case, I think they captured the banner well.
I hope you can see that I added some little black beads and some ribbons from my stash to finish the wreath off and make it extra special. I have a special friend coming over tomorrow so I hope it welcomes her with a smile!
I used the stamp set Daisy Patch Swirls for this project.  I stamped the images with Memento black ink then colored the flowers with my Copics (V15,95; RV14; G24, 82; YG25).  I used Ranger Peeled Paint, Dusty Concord, Bundled Sage and Tea Dye as my distressing ink.  I strung each of the banner pieces onto natural Twine.
As for you my stamping friends, I wanted to share the banner images I created for this project.  You can download and alter the images to suit your needs.  In my case, I increased the size of the banner pieces, added some letters (In the free font called Love and Laughter) and distressed/stamped with ink.  If you do choose to use these banner images, I hope you stop back to share your creation.  I'd love to see it!
