Colorful projects...

Hello stamping friends,

I'm excited to share a little sneaky peek of a project I'm working on right now.  I was inspired by the color challenge over at the My Favorite Things blog and although it isn't a CARD, it is stamped and inked...
Here are the beginnings of my inspiration:
Where my muse wandered:   I thought about the colors and that I didn't have any MFT papers or inks. Then I searched my stash...

I could use paper from my stash, Copics, colored pencils, watercolors, various inks in my stash ORRRRR...paint.

P.A.I.N.T  That's IT!

So I pulled the colors that would match and set off to get inky...urmmm...painty!

I gathered my Gelli Plate, brayer, four bottles of paint, some white cotton fabric and the most adorable dino stamp I could find...PERFECT!

Now Muse, GO!

Squirt, brayer, press.  Squirt, Brayer, press.  Sequins here and there...
On to the stamped image...Stamp-a-dino (ROAR!) then stitch on some ribbon and ric rac...
Wait....Add some layers of batting (to make it puffy) and some sparkly threads wandering about (sparkle matters)....
Don't forget to feed the Dino!
I think he needs to see the dentist!

I'll be back with Dino in a few short days to reveal the final project...In the meantime, stitch, stitch, stitch...
