Heartfelt Creations August 2013 Alumni Hop

Hello stamping friends!

Today I'm joining my fellow Heartfelt Creations Alumni Design Team members for our monthly hop of inspiration.  It's always such a fun time just hopping through all their blogs and oohing and aaahing over new and creative ways stamps and products are used.  I get so many ideas as I'm hopping along, and I hope you do too.

You may have arrived here from Cibele Glaser's blog post or you may have started somewhere else. Either way, just hop along to each blog and post a little comment to let us know you were here.   If you do, you'll be in the drawing to win a $25.00 gift certificate from the Heartfelt Creations store.  You can choose to use it to buy their amazing stamps, cutting dies, delish papers, sparkly embellishments, glues, glitters, tools or whatever your heart desires.  Comments will be accepted until Friday, August. 30, so you have plenty of time to visit each blog.

Now on to the show...
This week marks the first week back to school for me.  As a teacher, I've got meetings and the dreaded unpacking to do.  When the classroom is all fresh and ready for new learners, I place "treats" on their desks to welcome them to third grade.  This year, I wanted to create a simple card that could be mass produced in only one evening.  I also wanted a little treat I could give my teaching teammates.   I used my school colors and some hand written text to make it more personalized.
Do you notice the image used in this project?  It's the book in Book Frame 2 Precut Set!  It's the perfect little book to background stamp on a school-related project!!!

Thanks for stopping by to check out my project.  Please head on over to Sarah's blog to continue the hop.  Remember, in order to be placed in the drawing for a $25 gift card to the Heartfelt Creations store, please comment on each blog.

Here's this month's blog hop order:
