Happy Accidents...

THE FEBRUARY NEW RELEASES ARE IN THE STORE!!! CHECK THEM OUT HERE!

Hey stamping friends!  I'm sharing a few new cards I created using a new stamp by Carla Morrow called "This Flower Smells Purtyful".  Carla draws some of the cutest little dragons around and I'm excited to have the opportunity to design with one!!!  It's a cute whimsical dragon, isn't it???  I decided to do a little spritzing, a little glitzing and repeated stamping on the background card base so it's pretty much a CAS card to me.  Actually, I had the pink card  base sitting around when I was spritzing another project and some black specks were left on that piece so I decided that instead of toss it, I could use it!  SO I just added a bit more Tsukeniko Fireworks spritz on the piece after I repeatedly stamped the dragon onto the front of the card.  What a happy accident!!!  Adding that blue scrap was to help make the image pop!
Here's a little close-up of the glitzing and the little heart shaped bend in the wire ribbon...perfect little touch.

My next card is intended for a little girl who's having a birthday this week.  I'll be putting a personalized thinking bubble in the white space with a birthday wish, but for now, it's nice just to see the cute little dragon sniffin' posies.

Here's a close-up of the pattern paper used (My Minds Eye 6x6 pack).  It's actually two layers, one is snipped to resemble fringe.  The pink Twinery ribbon ties the button so it's not naked...I hate naked buttons!
Here's a closer shot at the coloring.  I'll have to stop back and post the colors later...Forgot to pick them up off the work table.
Such a cutie, huh???

There are TONS more dragons in the store...Here's another one of my NEW Favorites by the talented Danika Lindsell (love her!)
