With God, All things are Possible....

Each month I create a very special project to send to Emma Lou and Linda at Heartfelt Creations and at the end of January, I decided to work on a small photo album.  Quite a while back, while rummaging through Michael's dollar section, I picked up a few of these albums that hold 5x7 photos.  I knew I wanted to create some albums to give to family and friends but I never seemed to find the perfect stamp set or sentiment to use for them.  When I became a Heartfelt Creations designer, I knew I would definitely be using one with their stamps.  The Spring Medley flowers AND the beautiful sentiment were JUST PERFECT for my vision!

I don't usually have hard copies of my photos these days and hopefully, this will inspire me to make a few more albums and ORDER some prints because Lord knows I take enough photos to fill a whole bookshelf full!  I can also make some mini scrapbooks with these albums!!!

If interested in a PDF version of the directions for this project, email me or post a comment with a way to reach you.  Thanks!

Would you believe that the focal image in this photo is from a set called Snowflake Medallions?  Yep, it is!  I decided to jump out of the box and think of how I could use this stamp set in another way....Valentine's day!  I noticed the little hearts that appeared when I looked at the stamp at many different angles and decided it would work perfectly in my design.  I stamped time medallion once then stamped the floral portion several more times so I could color them and cut them out to add dimension to my card.  The blue layer of sparkly DCWV paper was a scrap from another project from WAAY back so I finally had an opportunity to use it.  I may have gone a little overboard with the leaves, but overall, I think it's an ok card. When I was almost done with assembling the card, I thought the kraft cardstock was to crisp against the other "distressed" designs so I decided to use the butterfly image in the background to just give a little bit of texture....Not for the image.

If you are interested in getting a PDF version of the directions for this card or any of my Heartfelt Creations designs, please post a comment with a way to reach you and I'll forward it along.
