Red, White, and....PINK!

Yep, that's right!  This week at Woodware USA we're getting out the February color palate.  I just got some Valentine theme stamps in the mail and I think I'm all set!  Ever since I got this train in preparation for Christmas cards, I KNEW I was going to use it for Valentine's Day cards.  I pictured all kinds of things in the train cars...so keep watching my blog...up next St. Patrick's Day!  Should I do green clovers or piles of gold???  HMMMMM...

For this card, I used two sets:  Parcel Train and my newest set called Now and Forever.  I stamped the train and sentiment with Versafine Onyx, then clear embossed.  After that, I went to town coloring the image with my Copics.  I don't always post my Copic colors but today I thought I'd "treat" you to the color palate as I really love how my design turned out and thought some may want to "copy".

Train and Hearts:  R22, 27, 35, 59; and a little B0000 in the window
Stippling, Wheels and some parts of train:  C1, 2, 3 as my primary shading;  W1, 3 to warm it up a bit; and a little B0000 for depth.

If you look closely, you will also see I glossed up the hearts by using some Glossy Accents and drew a few added hearts (parts) using my Copic .35 Multiliner.

Please join us this week in participating in the challenge at the WOODWAREUSA Blog.  Enter to win a new stamp set by uploading your creation to our inlinkz no later than this SUNDAY...If you use WoodwareUSA stamps in your creation, you can upload TWICE for a double chance at the win!!!  While on the blog, check out the other FESTIVE creations posted by the design team.

PS...Did you know WoodwareUSA just released 22 NEW stamp sets AND introduced a new designer named Jennifer Garant?  She creates some very COOL and humorous artwork for kitchens.  I was just in Bed, Bath and Beyond the other day and saw her artwork on Kitchenware!  COOL!

Watch my blog for some projects I'm creating with her stamp designs.  You'll FLIP!  I just love the humor in the sets and I think my first set will be "Martinis and Weenies"...LOVE IT!!!

Hey, if you're lucky enought to go to CHA in Anaheim this month, Andre and Jennifer will be there so SCOPE THEM OUT!

ALSO...22% off all orders of $45.00 or more!
