Challenge #2...One Layer Cards

I added some black puff paint to the cover up the PINK centers on the ribbon.
Hello Stampers!

Today begins the newest challenge on the WoodwareUSA blog. This week, the challenge is to make a card using only ONE layer! That's hard for me since I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE patterned paper, stitching, cutting and layering...I tried my hardest to complete the challenge though.

I stepped away from creating a white card by using a single piece of Orange Bazzill cardstock from my stash.  Yes, orange...I don't know why.  maybe it was the flower stamp I pulled from the set Circular Greetings...I love that set.  Or maybe it was the orange Stickles I have had stitting on my work table for YEARS.  Or perhaps it was the fun yellow ribbon that I just HAD to use right then.   I don't know, but I think I like how it turned out!!!  Just a handy little HELLO (Stamp Set is called LARGE SMALL GREETINGS) card to send out in a pinch, I guess.  PLUS...I love the layout and can see it repeated in a variety of colors too!!!

Hope you take part in the challenge this week.

Here are the rules for the challenge:
Here are the rules:If you do, please make sure to post a comment so we can take a peek!  Have a great week!

1. Create a one layer card for an entry in our monthly drawing. If you use a Woodware USA stamp in your creation, you will receive an additional entry but you don't have to use a WoodwareUSA stamp.

2. Link up the post with the card to our In-linkz system. SCS gallery users put WoodwareUSA as one of your keywords in addition to linking up your card.

3. You have until 8:00pm EST Sunday before the next challenge to enter.
