Easter Greetings!

Hello!

It's been a while since I have posted. I haven't crawled under a rock, just have had other things to do and my muse has been on a hiatus for a while. Seems when she's gone, all I can create is YUCK....

Well, I think she may be back, or at least partly back. I'm feeling a bit drained and haven't made a card in a while. I guess getting sick had something to do with it but not all. I couldn't believe it but I did purchase a birthday card for my sister for the first time in like 10 years! I felt so guilty. Anyway, that's over and done with but moving on to working more.
As spring has arrived here at my house, and I'm excited about the new days ahead, I send all my family and stamping friends from around the globe Easter blessings!

I used a sale stamp from OBP (Last day of sale is today, April 8,2009) three stands to create the easter basket and the decorated eggs. I love to use parts of stamps to create pattern and design on images so I combined my love of decorating Easter eggs with this stamping design. I just hand drew some easter eggs, stamped over them using one of the three stands from OBP, colored the egg design with my copics, glued it up and added superfine glitter...let it dry and cut them out. POOF...perfectly cute decorated easter eggs... Gotta use what you have right? Almost forgot the little bunny...He's Pierre le Bunny. I love him! If you're wondering about the sentiment, I hand drew (and tried to copy johanna's whimsical font) the easter and then took greetings from the sentiment Frosty Greetings.

Here's a close up of the eggs so you can see them a bit better:

Cool huh?

I also worked on a few more cards because I was so excited that I actually had quite a few stamps from the sale. Boy, how I wish my muse was in full swing because I'd have been cranking out some GREAT cards...Where ever is she when you really need her?

A month or so ago, I received some stamps from Odd Bird Planet that I had ordered. Attached to one of the stamps was the name of the stamp and this tiny justjohanna font. Of course I HAD to cut it out and add it to my stash of stamps because you never know when that itty bitty justjohanna stamp might come in handy...LIKE SAY when there is a sale...HEE HEE HEE...So, here's my prodding for you to run right out and take advantage of the awesome spring sale! LOL...Sorry, I don't think you'll be able to get the justjohanna that I used for the border, unless of course, you're lucky like me! HAHHHHHH!!! Here's Winston Bowler Bird Right and Left having a chat about the sale...

You know, Petey bowler Penguin has learned a few things in the circus...One thing is...IF YOU STAND REAL STILL, THAT LION might not even notice you're on his pedestal (star stand). Loved the PP so had to use it with this playful penguin and stand. (both are on sale today).

Howdy partner! This blue buckaroo is ready for a rip roarin time. He's used to gettin' down and dirty in the mud as you can see from the dirt all over the card. I'm thinkin' of just the right sentiment to add to the edge of the card...Recon' I can figure it out before he heads off over them hills?
