Happy New Year!

My Christmas was spent with family and it was nice to get together to celebrate Jesus' birthday with my loved ones. I hope your holiday was just as good.

I can say that the Wii I purchased for the family was well used and was really fun to play with. I knew it was going to be so fun to watch family play and compete against each other but BOY oh BOY, I never laughed so hard watching my dad and nephew BOX each other's lights out! TOO FUNNY... If you have never had a chance to play with one, you're definitely missing a workout (my abdomen muscles were soooo sore after boxing). It was fun to see everyone involved...Including my parents and My neice and nephew's Granny who is 76!

I even took an unexpected trip to Atlanta with my sister, niece and father for a few days (including New Years). My father loves to visit Civil War battlefields and do family geneology so went to Kennesaw, GA to visit the battlefield that my Great, Great Grandfather fought on. He was wounded there, so it was an important trip for my dad to take. After visiting the battlefield, we spent time hopping from hotel to hotel as the New Year holiday closed just about every attraction. Although we didn't do much on the trip, it was nice to spend time relaxing and doing "nothing".

Now that I'm back, I've got more to share and some catching up to do. Here are a few cards I've been holding on to. There are more to come too.

This card was made using one of the newest gnomes from OBP. I love the gnomes and these ice skaters are no exception.

Here's another wintery card...LOVE this little mushroom truck.
