Ribbons GALORE!!!

Yes, it was that time again... The time I need to replenish my 1/4 inch grossgrain supply....When I do it, I go all out...2 yards? NO, 5 yards? NO, 10 yards? NO....When I say I go all out, I mean it...I buy it in bulk to save, save, save! SO, today, I just ordered 18 different spools of colored ribbon. Each spool has 100 yards!!!

If you participated in my ribbon buys in the past, let me know if you are interested in doing so again...I'll have tons of ribbon to share at a FAIR price!

In the meantime, I'll post some things I just finished working on. Yes, they are the BRAND SPANKIN' NEW images from justjohanna! Johanna just designed some of the cutest barnyard images as well as cooking images for all you kitchen lovers out there. For me personally, I can't get enough of her new cows and her mushroom creations!!!

This was my first card created with a cow and barn...I colored with copics and gave him a little pop for dimension.

I don't know why, but when I saw this cow stamp, I thought he would wear purple well...and I'm not even a purple lover! After coloring him and cutting him out, I added pink dots and then found some complimentary paper...The barn was colored with prismas and gamsol then added a bit of copic for added color. Do you think this cow makes grape milk???When I saw this mushroom bed, all I could think of was Alice in wonderland or a cute little forest with little gnomes giggling around. I'm going to work on designing some fun sketches that I can envision with this AWESOME stamp!!! I added some dots and the little scallopped edge on the bedspread. Copics were used to color the image of course.

Since I live in Virginia and work right next to George Washington's house and grist mill, I had to use this colonial image. Isn't it hillarious??? I just think he should be saying: By George, I think you've got it! I do like the new sentiment that goes with this stamp, but there are so many more possibilities to come I think!

My great aunt is celebrating her 90th birthday and I decided she needed to have a chic and stylish card since she is still going full throttle and living at home!

Well, that's it for now. I'm off to go birthday shopping. Yes! I need to buy something for myself to celebrate my birthday on Tuesday.

  6. All of them are great, though I'm partial to the purple cow. I agree that she's purple.
