I'm in STAMPERS HEAVEN!!!

After a tiring week unpacking boxes at school and preparing for the beginning of the school year, I came home last night to a box of goodies and a sweet card from Johanna of http://www.justjohanna.com/. My Design Team package is amazing! It had an autographed copy of the current stamp catalog (WOWEEE, I FEEL SPECIAL!) and a cute card from Johanna. There was a big black box inside (that's gonna get some altering soon) filled to the brim with yummy stamps wrapped with pretty blue paper. I was able to select one small stamp as my logo for the back of my Design Team Cards so I made a really cute card with it too...but I can't show that to anyone yet! After going through the catalog, I made a list of all the stamps I've gotta have...That list has probably more than one hundred stamps on it! LOL...anyway...
I ran upstairs and started playing for the first time with my new stamps. I ended up making a total of eight cards in a few hours and had to force myself away at midnight so I would be able to get up for work in the morning! Right now, I'll post three of them now. The others will have to wait for a bit...
This was my first creation. This is my thank you to Johanna. I had some cardstock already cut on my workspace and decided to just jump right in. I used this really cute stamp called stand left http://http://shop.justjohanna.com/product.sc?categoryId=9&productId=118(I didn't stamp the whole thing just the bottom). I stamped the image using Versamark ink and distressed the paper a bit with an old dryVersamark pad. Simple, but fun.
Next, I started digging through my treasure box of JJ stamps and picked up the two partridges http://http://shop.justjohanna.com/search-submit.sc and....I heard a song in my head..."and a partridge in a pear tree...LOL...so I grabbed that pear stamp (I can't find the link for that right now so I'll get back to that). I just love using the MWCT and so...here it is. Wouldn't this make a fun holiday card???

After working with all those fall colors, I decided I wanted to brighten it up a bit and just had to play with the banner frame stamp http://http://shop.justjohanna.com/product.sc?categoryId=-1&productId=112. At first, I started out with the light green Memories shadow ink. I thought that was to subtle so I grabbed my BRIGHT Memories yellow ink (that I NEVER, EVER use) and started stamping more frames...It looks kinda retro dont'cha think?! Anyway, after stamping that I dug into that treasure box again and swooped up the scooter http://http://shop.justjohanna.com/search-submit.scand colored it in with some green and yellow colored pencils. I just love that centiment merci bird coop http://http://shop.justjohanna.com/product.sc?categoryId=-1&productId=142. Well, when I wanted to use that, I just had to add a bird house http://http://shop.justjohanna.com/product.sc?categoryId=9&productId=95, so I decided to turn it into a fun little antenna topper!

So, as you can see, I'm just in stamper's heaven!!! I'm going home tonight to play with my new stamps again!!! FUNNNNNN!!!!
